Visidom is built and run by Cem Erdem. This page lists what the website and the app collect, why, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to [email protected].
The website
- Waitlist. If you join, your email address is stored so you can be told when Visidom launches. It is also kept in your browser so the form remembers you.
- Analytics. Page views and clicks in the app preview are counted with a self-hosted Umami instance. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
- Abuse protection. Your IP address is held in memory for a few seconds to rate-limit the waitlist form. It is never stored.
The app
- Account. Signing in with Google gives Visidom your name, email address and profile picture.
- Your setup. The topics, tags, reading times and timezone you choose.
- Your activity. Saved reads, your notes and how far you got in each read.
- Generation. Reads and their audio are written by OpenAI. Only your topics and tags are sent to it, never your name, email or notes.
What Visidom does not do
No ads, no selling or sharing your data, no tracking across other sites or apps. Data is kept only by the services that run Visidom: Railway (app database), Cloudflare (website delivery and audio files) and netcup (website and waitlist).
Deleting your data
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, and your account, its data and any waitlist entry are deleted within 30 days.
